Kenan Flannery
Praised as having a voice that hits you with the intensity of a hundred Irish poets and musicians”“ Kenan Flannery is a 23 year old IYMA’s award winning folk songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. His music is a fusion dance of his deep love for Americana folk music from the likes of Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley mixed with his Irish roots in storytelling and ballads inspired by The Dubliners and The Wolfe Tones.
Kenan is truly a storyteller for the damned and broken, writing heart wrenching songs and stories. Performing in some of the biggest venues in Ireland and coming off the back of a sold out show supporting The Wolfe Tones in front of 2000 people and a support slot booked with the talented Nick Shoulders in Dublin, he has finally made the journey stateside for a 2 month debut tour of America from Montana to Maine with his dear music brother Isaac Elliot.
He has released a multitude of new music in the past few months and is working on a documentary involving his travels of America and the journey of self discovery.
Wild, humorous and a little bit quirky his live shows are truly one of a kind and his unique style of music and showmanship makes him one of Ireland's gems in the rough.
Isaac Elliott is a 34 year old troubadour, folk songwriter/storyteller born and raised on the Cherokee Reservation of Oklahoma, from a young age his father introduced him to the poetic words of John Prine which led him down the wild and wonderful road of music. After spending a decade in service, he began discovering his own love from Folk and Americana music. This began in the music circles of the Woody Guthrie Folk Fest and now he spends his time performing in any bar, coffee shop and brewery that will have him.
His music has been described as “Raw and Pure” and it is said that he has the ability to “pen a song so deep with history that he should have been a history teacher”. Humorous and kind hearted, Isaac’s live shows will leave you laughing, crying and full of knowledge about himself and the world that we live in.
After working the circles of Oklahoma, He has finally set out on a tour from Montana to Maine with his Irish brother Kenan Flannery.
Isaac is truly a gem of Americana/Folk music and someone you should keep on your radar.
